For one of my current projects I am relying very heavily on word of mouth advertising to attract new business.

The way I am working to get this is by targetting several of the really large forums in that industry and providing a great service to clients there who in turn recommend me to other members who are looking for that service.

So my only tip for increasing word of mouth recommendations is to provide truly outstanding service or content.
