How do you choose forum staff, i mean do you randomly choose someone and thenm fuck the whole site up or do you stay without staff till someone posts 1000 times.

I personally will get someone who has a proven record of moderating on other forums etc, also if they start destroying the forums you can remove their powers and ban their I.P. address from accessing the forum, also keep regular backups of the Data base incase something happens to it.

Yeah, you generally go with a friend or someone you trust or someone who has been active on the forums

It is normally a friend. Or you get a person who has been posting alot and make them an admin.

yeh a friend is probably the best. you could also moderate it yourself.

Choosing the right person will decide if your forum will live and be a success or if it will quickly die. Don't rush into a decision such as this you really must trust people who you empower with looking after your forum.
