The metal oxide-based "nano cluster" has taken pounds-100,000 and three years to develop.

The molecule cluster is 10,000 times thinner than a human hair, and marks another step forward in nanotechnology, the science of atoms and molecules that is set to transform medicines, technology and even food in years to come.

Lead researcher Dr. Lee Cronin told the Sunday Herald: "Data storage hits the wall at a certain point companies are spending billions cramming more memory into smaller space, but it can't go on forever with current technology.

"What we have come up with is a molecule with the potential to pack in 10,000 more 'storage units' into a given area than is currently possible."

Another thing that is shrinking is laptop batteries. Now they are going to start making lithium polymer batteries for all laptops which can be shaped in any way so that the laptops will be smaller and lighter.

Yes cant wait for automatic drivers had to drive for 6.30 hours today not cool

That would be quite good but i would still want to be able to drive without it so i can still excede the speed limit because im guessing these automatic drivers wont overtake and wont go over the limit.

Yeah they would be a second driver when you dont want to reading computer chips via the roads for conditions and certain speed limits.
