You can always use phpbb or the old version of IPB qhich can be found on Fantastico on the older versions.

I downloaded phpBB 2.0.16. But I have no clue on how to get it working.

Thats a silly thing to ask. Yes, Php 4 and The latest MySQl i believe, you also get access to cpanel.
