i have had a horrible encounter with hostgator.com I dislike them so much. Do not go with them.

arhh i absolutely hate host gator. it is such a bad web host. don't use them.

Host gator is pretty large and just like any large company - the more customers they have the more chances they have to have unhappy customers.

Fortunately for me, I have only had two hosting companies in my life.

I've heard a lot of bad things about hostgator myself...

I'm with PowerVPS right now and am very happy with it. Very fast, support is very responsive, and priced right.
