Default Fetch Traffic Using Forums

Fetch Traffic Using Forums
By Bikramjit Singh

You are very rich and you are pretty lazy, don’t read it further. If you really like true traffic, which is interested in watching your site, do follow these steps. These steps will allow you to optimize you sites traffic. Here we go:

If you own a forum:-

1. Find moderators: - First of all look for other good forums and try to make friends who can help you in moderating your forum. Their viewer based suggestions will help you in driving more traffic.

2. Topics: - Choose carefully the topics for discussion on your forum. Less controversial are better. Try topics discussing the general problems. Topics like review a website or software work good. Healthy battlefields where viewers get to show their talent are good for building traffic to your forum.

3. Easy sign-up forms: - Bulky sign-up forms will drive away users from your forum. Open forums are much better in this context.

4. Follow rules: - Always follow healthy rules. Never let anybody use your forum for abusing others. Try to delete such posts as soon as you can.

5. Lot of topics: - Try adding more and more topics for your forum. But do keep track of the categorization of each topic.
Try to keep only the useful topics. Some funny ones will help.

Don’t have a forum (no problem try these)

Try to add your views to the maximum number of forums you can. They don’t cost you a penny but will attract visitors to your site. If your view helps somebody, may be you gain an admirer and a loyal visitor to your site. The more popularity your name would gain, more traffic you will generate. Always put your link in the signature, not into the body of the post. Never post a negative view. It will begin unnecessary abusive debate. And the most important, try to become a moderator for other forums.

These simple steps will fetch you a lots of traffic at no cost.
It is better to waste your time posting reviews than trying to build traffic using link exchange or other unworthy means.

That's a pretty reasonable article that covers all the basics.

One of the points the article the touches upon is the need for moderators.

You really can't grow your forum completely alone. There WILL come a time when you will need to choose moderators or you will go crazy.

An interesting strategy is to choose some active complainers as moderators.

Someone who is a busybody can make a good moderator.

I love that... "choose some active complainers as moderators". This is so true. Especially in politics. Get an active moderator on politics and let them do the rest. So I disagree with the article slightly. I think controversial moderators aren't so bad.

The ariticle is good but the advice might be flawed, just a little.
