Default php seo

ok ive read a site which shows you how to make phpbb search engine friendly removing session id's etc but it seems like a lot of work, is there any other way? the site i seen was also for a fairly old version of phpbb so im not even sure it would work on the most recent version.

Are you talking about the able2know hack? This one here: http://www.able2know.com/forums/about15132.html

Yes, that's a lot of work, and it will work with the latest versions.

As far as I know that won't work with something like EasyMOD, you'd have to make all of the changes yourself, by hand.

PHP pages have a reputation of being more difficult (or at least different) to SEO than static HTML pages. Here?s an overview of the major issues encountered when trying to optimize PHP script for search engines. While this focuses on PHP much of it is still relevant to SEO'ing dynamic pages in general.
