Default New Forum .... phpbb

I've decided to go with phpbb. I can change now. Is there any other forum software that I should consider?

Yeh you could try vbulletin but phpbb is probably the best to go with.

I started off with phpbb, but once the forum really got off the ground, and I wanted to add more things to it, I discovered that modifications that you have to add to phpbb come standard with vB. And it's much easier to operate a vB board than it is a phpbb board... at least I think it is. OF course, vB's a bit on the expensive side... but it's worth every penny, imho
